1. Please introduce yourself.
I am Aisha Nalugwa, aged 28 and I live in Entebbe, Uganda, East Africa.
2. What’s your favourite national dish or food?
My favourite national dish or food is Matooke and beef.
3. What’s the biggest issue in Uganda regarding micronutrient deficiency and Hidden Hunger?
It’s a major national public health problem in my country caused by lack of essential vitamins in a healthy diet like vitamin A, Zinc, Iron & iodine.
4. Have you personally been facing issues to maintain a healthy diet? If so, what did you do to improve it?
Yes, personally I have been facing issues to maintain a healthy diet due to lack of enough information on how a healthy diet should work, so through googling & using other social media platforms I had to gather the necessary information to improve my diet.
5. If you had a budget of €10.000, what would you do to improve the situation in Uganda regarding Hidden Hunger?
I would improve the situation in Uganda through sensitising the general public on how to have a healthy diet
