Sated Is Not Enough – The Future Needs a Healthy Diet

The commitment to take action against hidden hunger is the main focus in the current annual campaign of Bread for the World. With the motto Sated is not enough – The Future Needs A Healthy Diet the Protestant Development Service initiates and promotes projects on nutritional diversity to mitigate the causes and consequences of malnutrition in developing countries. Bread for the World advocates for nourishment as an inalienable human right. The set of measures includes in particular impulses for systematic clarification on the process of micronutrient deficiencies as well as impulses for the cultivation, preservation and distribution of traditional and nutritious crops . Zambia, as one of the four producing countries of the church work on Southern Africa, gains next to South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe great attention through this.
